Her future shines with endless hope,
A canvas bright, where dreams will cope.
With faith and strength, she’ll rise above,
Guided by grace, and wrapped in love.

This Lady is my Mother. Her name was Betty Jane and she went by Bjay. In the photo that inspired this piece, she is about 16 years old and is gazing pensively across a lake. I can just imagine her thoughts as she contemplated her future. Her past was rough and full of trauma but she was always an optimistic person, so I imaging she was thinking her future would be better than her past.
