Meet Shoshana Church
Hi, I'm Shoshana, and my journey has been quite the adventure. I grew up in Memphis, TN, where I learned to drive, experimented with weed, and nearly left behind all traditional paths by dropping out of high school—but I didn’t. Instead, I graduated from high school (insert Mom's hugh sigh of relief!!!) moved to Southern Illinois, where I met my spouse, raised three wonderful kids, and built a career as a Physician Assistant.
Even with that success, I kept searching for something that truly fulfilled me, a space where my creativity could thrive. I finally found that calling as an artist. My process is eclectic, blending collage, inks, spray paint, acrylics, and oils. Each piece I create is infused with hidden messages and scripture, and I pray over every one as I bring it to life.
For me, art is always evolving. I often find myself changing a piece midway through when I feel it needs a new direction. This has taught me not to get too attached to any part of the process—because in art, as in life, things are always shifting.
